Vox populi, finalista en Wonderland

«Pilar, necesito verte… tengo que contarte algo muy importante».
Al escuchar el mensaje que mi mejor amiga me había dejado en el contestador barajé dos opciones:
«O tenía que repetir la última mamografía… o que una de sus célibes hijas tenía que casarse de penalti».
¿Qué otros motivos tendría una cincuentona, bien situada, devota cumplidora, sufridora, abnegada madre y obediente esposa, para alarmarme?

Me abrió la puerta entre sollozos. Frente a una taza de tila me confiaba, ingenua, lo que yo jamás hubiera osado revelarle…
«Don Teófilo me mintió, un hombre sí puede separar lo que ha unido Dios».
